Ciao!

Yesterday morning my roommates and I woke up in a winter wonderland. When I say winter wonderland I am not referring to the weather outside, I am talking about inside our humble apartment. Yes thats right for some reason all of our heaters decided to stop working in the middle of the night and caused our apartment to reach temperatures close to 15 degrees Celsius which can be converted to about 59 degrees Fahrenheit. This would not of been completely unbearable for the time being if our water heater had been working. However, trying to take a freezing shower and then getting out and being even more cold is not what I can call a good time. Luckily we were able to get ahold of the housing department and they sent some one over as soon as possible to fix the issues!

That afternoon in my "Exploration of Wine Culture in Italy" class learned about all of the different regions wine can come from and how to distinguish that just by taste. We also learned about the different quality standards of wine and basically all I learned was that my 99 cent wine bottles from the local 99 cent stores are not exactly what you would consider even a "decent" Italian wine. Later in class we had a tasting of 3 white wines one being dry, one sweet and one bubbly. Oddly enough I really enjoyed the dry one, which my sister would be impressed about.

Later that night Skylar, Inbar and I went to a bar called Bigalo where everyone was meeting up before going to Fullup to see some DJ from New York which all the Italian's were sooo excited about. For us it was not that big of a deal because A) its just a DJ and B) were in Europe we don't want to see someone from the states perform we want to see something we can't see back home! But of course, we went anyways. haha After a short while at Fullup (A club that always smells like its built on top of a sewage drain) we decided to head home. Of course that couldn't be the end of the night since it was still fairly early. So like most girls who come home from a club early, we made pasta. We thought our days of eating late after a night out were left back in the states, unfortunately we all brought our bad habits with us!
